Procurement Engineer - Component Control (Fresh Graduated)

Role Clarifications:

  • Negotiate cost-down target with supplier by checking detailed cost breakdown and comparing specifications with other models and alternative suppliers
    Find new supplier to benchmark current one. Follow up target and negotiate.
  • Check result for reasonability and proceed with next steps.
    Prepare new part after receiving quotation. Compare cost and supplier quality. Negotiate to meet target and issue comparison sheet for supervisor’s judgment.
  • After selecting supplier, visit to check tooling and process, verify sample, then send to QC to ensure no NG
    After receiving the endurance test result, if NG, take action with the supplier and relevant parties to resolve the issue before mass production.
  • Collect part issues for action in the new model. Check tooling and process at the supplier during lot trial and pre-mass production, and resolve any problems.
  • Visit supplier monthly until sample is received. Check tooling status and send to platform for trial stage. If any supplier cannot deliver parts for mass production, support PPC division to resolve the issue until delivery is possible.
  • Check new supplier after receiving documents to confirm substance compliance. If any supplier contains restricted substances, coordinate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in any field in Engineering.
  • Experience in Procurement Engineering or any related field would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English communication (Toeic score minimum 600 is required)
  • Able to use Ms office, Power BI would be advantage
  • Remark: Able to interview at TYM
